2022 - The Beginning
The first Canada Bubble Tea Festival marked a historic start.
The opening ceremony was attended by Janet Austin, Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia, representing Her Majesty The Queen.
In the same year, the festival introduced a supercar showcase, blending bubble tea culture with lifestyle and automotive experiences.
2023 - Growing in Scale
The festival continued to grow with the attendance of the Premier of British Columbia at the opening ceremony, highlighting its rising cultural significance.
That year also featured an outdoor movie experience, transforming the festival into a full-day destination beyond food and drinks.
2024 | Immersive Cultural Experience
The festival introduced the Taste of Taiwan series, recreating a Taiwan-style street atmosphere on site.
Guests experienced the feeling of enjoying bubble tea as if walking through the streets of Taiwan — bringing cultural storytelling to life.
2025 | Expanding The Community
The number of participating bubble tea brands grew from seven to thirteen, reflecting the festival’s expanding influence and its role as a key platform for bubble tea brands to connect with the community.
