Show Your Talents Here

A Curated Performance Experience

Our stage programming is thoughtfully curated to ensure a dynamic and engaging experience for attendees throughout the day. With over 10,000 visitors, a multicultural audience, and strong social media presence, the festival provides meaningful exposure for selected performers.

This is not an open-mic environment. All performances are reviewed and selected by the programming team to maintain a high-quality show flow and audience engagement.

Performance Opportunities

We offer multiple performance formats designed to accommodate different styles and audience engagement levels. Applicants may indicate their preferred placement, though final stage assignments are determined by the organizing team.

BOBA STAGE (Main Stage)

The Main Stage features curated performances throughout the festival. This stage includes professional sound equipment, scheduled programming blocks, and MC introductions. Performance slots typically range from 10 to 20 minutes and are designed for high-energy acts that can engage a large audience.

Ideal for:

• Dance groups

• Cultural showcases

• Live bands

• Vocal performers

• Headline-style performances

MARKET STAGE

The Street Stage offers a more casual showcase setting within the festival marketplace area. This space may have minimal technical support and is best suited for short-format performances that complement the surrounding vendor and interactive zones.

Ideal for:

• Small dance teams

• Busking-style performances

• Acoustic acts

• Community groups

INTERACTIVE EXPERIENCE
PERFORMANCES

Interactive performers lead audience-engagement activities such as dance workshops, cultural demonstrations, or hands-on experiences. These sessions focus on participation rather than passive viewing and may involve structured workshop formats.

Revenue-share or collaborative models may be considered for interactive programming.

Ideal for:

• Dance instructors

• Cultural educators

• Activity leaders

• Experience-based creators

We Welcome Performers Who…

We encourage applications from performers who bring energy, professionalism, and audience engagement to the stage. Priority is given to acts that align with the festival’s vibrant and family-friendly atmosphere.

We look for performances that:

• Engage and energize the audience

• Align with the festival’s cultural and celebratory spirit

• Are suitable for a diverse, family audience

• Demonstrate preparation and stage readiness

Participation & Compensation

The Canada Bubble Tea Festival prioritizes community-driven and exposure-based performances as part of its cultural programming.

At this time, general performance slots are not fee-based. However, applicants who typically require a performance fee may indicate their standard rate in the application form. Sponsored or featured performance opportunities may be considered based on alignment, programming needs, and partnership support.

All stage programming decisions are finalized by the organizing committee.
